Product Standards and Features
Hongbang Brand Polyethylene (PE) Pipe for water supply is produced and tested according to the requirements of National Standard GB/T13663.2-2018 Polyethylene (PE) Pipe for Water Supply. It is suitable for municipal water supply, drinking water supply, building water supply, farmland irrigation, sewage, chemical, medicine and other fields where temperature is no more than 40 centigrade.
Product Features
1、Non-toxic and Hygienic
The pipe material is non-toxic, non-corroding and non-scaling and is a kind of green building material, and can effectively improve the water quality of pipe network.
2、Anti-corrosion
Polyethylene is an inert material and can withstand the erosion of a variety of chemical media, except a few strong oxidants, and therefore it doesn’t need an anti-corrosion layer.
3、Leakproof
Polyethylene pipe mainly adopts hot melt connection or electric melt connection, which has good resistance to water hammer pressure. The fusion joint and polyethylene pipe integrated with pipe and goods have effective resistance to underground activity and end load, which greatly improves the safety and reliability of water supply.
4、Small flow Resistance
The absolute roughness of polyethylene inner wall is not more than 0.01mm, while the new steel pipe and ball mill cast iron pipe is more than 0.06mm, which can effectively reduce the energy consumption during water supply.
5、High Tenacity
Polyethylene water supply pipe is a kind of high toughness pipe, and its breaking elongation is generally more than 600%. With strong adaptability to the uneven settlement of pipe base, it is a kind of excellent seismic resistance pipe material.
6、Excellent Flexibility
The flexibility of PE makes it possible for PE pipe to be coiled, avoiding a large number of joints and fittings, and increasing the economic value of the material to pipeline engineering.
7、Good Resistance to Rapid Cracking
Polyethylene pipe has good resistance to rapid crack transmission, scratch and cracking under environmental stres
8、Long Service Life
The service life of polyethylene pipes is more than 50 years.
Classification: According to different grades of raw materials, PE water supply pipes are divided into PE80 and PE100 grades. At present, these two types of raw materials are mainly used in China, and PE100 pipes are more often used in actual production. According to pressure grades, they are divided into five types.
