Hard Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Pipes
PVC-U series pipe is made of hygienic-grade PVC resin, the main raw material, and formed by plastic extruder by adding appropriate amount of stabilizer, lubricant, filler, color enhancer. The pipes and pipe fittings are produced through cooling, curing, shaping, inspection, packaging and other processes. This product has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and insulation performance, has stable size, material chamber, uniform wall thickness, good resistance to pressure, good flame retardance, high strength, smooth pipe wall and small friction resistance, and is non-scaling. Besides, it can ensure high-efficient transportation, will not make secondary pollution, comply with health requirements and can be operated easily. It complies with the guidelines for the development of chemical building materials by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China and The State Economic and Trade Commission.
(1) PVC has low cost, excellent acid and alkali resistance and chemical properties, as well as good tensile and compressive strength.
(2) PVC is an antistatic material that can not conduct electricity, and is not subject to electrolysis and current corrosion; It is also resistant to flame and is a double-resistant pipe material. It can be used in coal mine drainage and water supply, gas drainage and exhaust;
(3) PVS’s resistance is small and has high low rate. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, and its water carrying capacity is 20% higher than that of iron pipes of the same diameter and 40% higher than that of concrete pipes. The inner wall is smooth and the fluid flow loss is small, so the dirt is not easy to adhere to the smooth pipe wall;
(4) PVC is anti-aging and anti-cracking;
(5)PVC has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and non-scaling, and is not easy to be affected by moisture and soil Ph, so there is no need of any prevention treatment and its comprehensive economic benefit is about 5-8 times that of steel pipes.
(6) PVC has good water tightness. Whether connected by bonding or by rubber rings, PVC-U pipes have good water tightness.
(7) Prevention of gnawing: PVC-U pipes are not a source of nutrients and therefore are not subject to rodent attack. According to tests conducted by the National Sanitation Foundation in Michigan, rats did not bite PVC-U pipes;
(8) Light weight and convenient installation: The proportion of pipe is about 1/6 of steel pipes and 1/3 of glass pipes. Flange connection is adopted for underground construction.
(9) The proportion of PVC material is 1/10 of iron, which is relatively simple in transportation and installation.
(10) Simple construction: PVC pipe joint construction is quick and easy, so the construction cost is low.
(11) PVC pipe can be used in underground coal mine drainage gas, positive pressure ventilation, negative pressure ventilation, water supply and drainage, shotcrete and other kinds of underground coal mine pipeline laying.
